Teardrops on my guitar.

Lately it's been bed at 5am and up at 1:30pm. For 4 days consequtively now. I'm tired. I'm beginning to forget how it feels like to go to bed with ease and wake up happily.

I'm temporarily on a break from all the busy outings. It's been slow moving, just the way I want it. At least for a while, anyway.

I have been walking Bingo for the past few nights with my dad. It's nice to take a walk at 10 at night; especially with the light breeze that almost never stops. It's a good time to clear your head and think about absolutely nothing. I love my Bingo. ;p But sometimes I have a feeling he knows he can push me around because he seems to be the one leading the leash.

Tomorrow I will be going up to Santubong with my extended family for New Year's. Will be staying up there for a day. Just the thing I need to getaway and stop thinking for a while. Just the idea of being surrounded by family, fresh air, a pool and a bunch of noisy nieces, nephews and cousins is absolutely heart-melting. I can't wait.

But, really, I'm beginning to see things in a better light. I've had help. So much of it. So, thank you. ;) And God has never stopped being there. And for that I owe Him my whole life. I'm half awake now. I can't see it too fully yet, but I'm almost there. To be perfectly honest, I prefer it this way. I'd rather walk around fully conscious than stuck in a dream. All that's left now is to keep going forward and just not look back anymore.

Julia is back today. If you're reading this, I'm sorry I forgot to call you. I got home too late and by the time I'd remembered, it was 11am. I'll be away for tomorrow so I'll call you the day after, 'kay? And Deb and I have made plans to play ball on Wednesday and Friday mornings. Let me know if you're up for it. Spent the whole night with Serena last night. xDD We had dinner with Mindy and family at ELEPHANT. After Empire, we went over to Travillion to check out the gorgeous lights again. And this time we were successful.

To make it even better, there was some sort of celebration going on too, with a choir and lots of bubbles. Serena jumped around with the little kids, poking at the bubbles. Hahah. So cute. Who knew how happy a few Christmas decorations could make people.

It was really fun looking at all the merriment. After that we headed over to Senso, to check things out. But the band wasn't playing so..

We went to SCOOPS. Notice the contrast in our gelatos? The worker likes me more than Serena. Teeheehee.

And so, we both decided that..

..SCOOPS is a good place to take pictures.

After that we went over to Senso's to see if the band was out. Not yet. So,..

..we ran around Hilton and camwhored instead. ;p

Today Serena came over for Mahjong. Since our BING! plans got postponed the night before, Serena and I decided to spend the whole day together. xD

Then, Naomi came to join us. After that, we went for our respective dinners (Naomi went to school, hahahah).

We went to Bing at around 9.

After a while Mindy, Steffi, Brian and Jeffrey Ko Ko arrived.

We gambled. LOL. With UNO cards. Min brought cards. UNO, blackjack then poker. Then we paid a visit to the toilet and found this:

I think people got freaked out when we started scratching and pounding on the girls' room door each time one of us went in then later all of us hopped inside together. Hahah. It was for the picture, ok? ;p

After a few more rounds of cards, Steff got hungry so we went for supper.

It was really fun. We laughed alot. We went home at around 12 something and that was a night. =) Love these guys.

And this was pretty much how I spent my afternoon the day before.

It's bubble wrap. It's highly addictive.

And I saw this sign at Teck Kong the other day while accompanying my mom on an errand.

It made me ROFLMAO. Hey, it was a slow day, ok? It's easy to be entertained under such conditions.

And for Christmas last night, family and I went up to Buntal to eat crab. Hahah. After that at about 9, Sis, Tweety, Min, Bri, Jeffrey Ko and I went to Travillion to check out the tallest Christmas tree in Kuching. ;p

But because it started to rain when we got there, we went in to Frappe instead to wait for the rain to subside. We ended up just sitting in Frappe, eating, drinking and playing UNO and Blackjack. We made our bets using UNO cards too. And the nerd@Min said, "We can use the UNO cards to bet and when the cops come we'll just tell them we came up with a new game." Bahahahahahahahah.

Ko ordered loads of food for us and somehow Serena and I found it more fun to share two tiny club sandwiches, biting half out of each, instead of eating one whole ourselves. Min said that it makes us more "chin" like how parents make their kids share food when they're younger to further "intimatize" them. Go figure.
We stayed til about 11:30 and some time while we were in Frappe, the huge Christmas tree disappeared. 0_0

So, last night was really fun. Min got to stay out past 10:30pm. That's phenomenal. So it was a semi-Christmas celebration/Min's freedom celebration. Heheh.

Pre-Christmas Jitters.

Serena and I went out yesterday on a Christmas shopping marathon that required the help of a RHB atm machine. Hehe. I really had alot of fun. I missed her and shopping was really really fun. Especially when we paid 4 different trips to PLUS@Parkson 4 different times in the same afternoon. LOL. Guess what, Tweety. I went there again today with my parents. LMAO. Thanks for such a great time. I love you loads.

So we ended up going to 4 different places that afternoon. HockLee, Crown Plaza, Parkson, 100% Discount Store (hahah don't ask). In the end we managed to get everything we needed. You were loads of help in making decisions, especially at the silver shop, Tweety. Heheh. So we made it home in time after a whole afternoon of Christmas shopping and I think Serena made it on time to her dinner as well, right? ;p

Tonight I went out with Matthew. To watch National Treasure 2. Gotta admit, in the beginning I was pretty doubtful but the movie turned out to be really great. Good choice, buddy. ;p It was really funny too, surprisingly. Well, I had good company.

The movie was at 10:15pm, so we went up to play pool instead. Mr. Show Off was obviously professional and I was obviously klutzy. LOL. After that we tried the archery thingy out.

His first time. He looked so funny I couldn't resist.

After that we went for the movie then managed our way to Tabuan Laru. ROFL. I had fun though. So, thank you, Matty. ;)

Today when I asked my mom if I could go out with Matthew tonight and about my plans for the following days, she just sighed and said "Finish school liau. Everyday go out liau. Ok la. You finish school already so it's okay." Yeah. Realized that I have been out alot. It's nice. Hehe. My sis and Naomi were going on about how lucky I am, having no real curfew at my age ('cos I came home@12am tonight) and how I got to go for Rainfest in Form5. LOL. Yeah, guess I am pretty blessed. Very actually. Heheh.

Was just telling Serena, I have to get used to going out on Friday nights now that I'm going to college.

People grow up. I get it. I have too. And now I no longer find it fun to take pictures on my own, I love being single, the way I make my decisions are different, I like to read, my range of friends have widened, I'm a little more comfortable with myself, I love my family more, I'm more connected with God, I'm making new friends but at the same time I'm losing some old ones and maybe I'm a little stronger too.

I love my life, love God, love my family, love my friends. Because when it gets hard, I've got plenty to fall back on. And I'm very happy for that. Really. :)


So, glad to be back. I've missed you guys.

Birthday #3.

Today was the best. Fel brought me out; just the two of us. It was really relaxing and laid back surprisingly. We started off with a super early morning. Well, early for me; the one who slept at 4am. Fel stopped by my place and we left at around noon time. Ate lunch at Pizza Hut. (LOL. It's like some yearly ritual that I go there every birthday.) We ended up spending 2 whole hours on lunch. It was really nice though. We talked alot and had plenty of time to catch up on things. We took things real slow and had ample time so everything was perfection.

After that we went for a long walk. It felt really healthy. Really. Just around the town area. Through TunJugah, then to Sarawak Plaza where we bought oil blotters and anime merchandise.

Got some calendar cards too-- Kenpachi for me and Prince of Tennis for Serena. xD (pass it to you when i'm back, k?) Fel got a pair of Rinoa and Squall mobile pouches and a few Tsubasa Chronicles calendar cards-- for her and gg.

We were like maniacs in a semi-anime store. LOL. The workers there kept laughing at us, with our constant OMG-ing and screaming. (And to think, I'm not even the real Bleach fan here. My sis is.) But they were really nice. This woman even brought out the bleach bag to show me.

Too bad I didn't have enough cash. Heh.

Found the monkey from Golden Compass that Jesse wanted in toy form. LOL. Too bad it doesn't glow in the dark, eh, boy?

When we walked downstairs, something super weird happened. Some salesman dude handed Fel a brochure and before I knew it, he dragged her to their 'stall' and started telling her about their skincare products. And she just stood there.. listening. -.-

That strange man applying some strange cream on her skin. I was like OMG. WTH?! Walked over and dragged her away cos he was handing her a bottle of sample cream and telling her to tell her friends about it so that their company can earn some money. Yes, he said that. Repeatedly. So irritating. He even touched her nose. *shudders

Then..

She got scared of skin allergies. LOL. Guess it didn't help to keep screaming 'skin allergy!!' at her while she washed her hand.

After that we decided to walk over to the arcade over at Medan Pelita. But before that, we had to take a seat for a little.

Got that right. Hahah. It's Holiday Inn's toilet.

We had to sit somewhere. ;p

So, after what we walked over to the arcade and played a few rounds of Daytona, Dance Fever and Resident Evil. Brilliant day. Thank you so much, Fel. xD

Going off tomorrow. KL, here I come!! I'll miss you guys. See you in 10 days, friends~ SHOPPINGGGG.

p/s. zack called me all the way from labuan tonight. i'm soo touched. he's the sweetest. i feel so awful that his credit ran out from the call. =(( love you, buddy.
