Music and Lyrics.

AMY TAN. Reviews on the front pages of her books do not even begin to compliment her brilliance. Yes. She is that good. (To me anyway). The way she phrases her words-- its like, where does she even begin to think of all these clever expressions?
After reading Amy Tan, the passion in me to put my life story to paper has only immensed. It is like this strange script writes itself in my head as if potential material for some amateurly documented biography of my life. And this would happen on every occassion, on a daily basis.

What hopes could a 17-year old with a vocabulary the size of your typical house mosquito have of publishing a paperback biography comparable to a 57-year old writer with more than 20 years of experience from Berkeley? I know. Nobody asked me to. But sometimes the illusion is inevitable.
Considering on pursuing a career in writing biographies for the deceased. Or for the living if they wish me to.

;p.

I'm not sure about the movie but the song's really good. The lyrics are it's forte. But the movie does look good. Will borrow from Mindy. (Maybe after SPM).

Anyway, played 2 hours of badminton today. Julia, Felicity and my dad. Was nice. Good exercise.

Yes, this is what happened last time my dad and I played badminton for an hour and a half.

Oh well. Guess I can stop wondering why I'm not losing any weight. ;p

pro-football government.

Went out for Tweety's a.k.a. Serena's graduation dinner. She's graduated!! Congratz, congratz. Gotta admit. Was kinda worried at first that things would be weird, with me being the youngest there and all (even if I do look their age, hrmph) but it went really well. Had soo much fun, seriously.

We ate at Taipei 101. Good choice. Veerryy good. LoL. To me. But seriously, must try.

After we'd finished up, we headed over to Point One which was on the same block because Taipei 101 was closing (it was 9:30pm =.=). At ice-cream there and watched football. Well, not really. We just shouted the names of the random footballers that appeared on TV. Tweety, Min and I sat on one row (the pro-football government) and Che, Winnie and Naomi sat on the opposite side (the opposition who kept sprinkling ice water at us for our love of football -.-'').

The Government.

9 Crimes.

CYC was a BLAST. Bayern guys are hott. Germans. Pfft. Damn. Deb took some really awesome close-ups of the footballers. Will try to post them up when I manage to get a hold of them. Malaysians are sore-supporters. Poor Chelsea was boo-ed all the way to Pluto, loathed for their every movement, just because the crowd felt an obligation towards the Malaysian team. FYI, you don't have to hate the other team, you know? Embarrassment. Yes. The epitome of it. Grr. Poor English boys looked so disheartened at the end of the Chelsea vs Malaysia; 0 - 0 match. I'd be disappointed too if I were them. The crowd has contradicted the Government's Visit Malaysia Programme.

Julia slept over yesterday night. Sister's friends came over. Anna and sis cooked us pasta, mushroom soup, sausages and crabsticks and cheese baked beans. So we practically had pasta for dinner, supper and today's breakfast.

Tweety-bird. Cutee, eh? ;p Haha. a.k.a Serena Sim.

A week of no school. That's what it does to you. It's time to pick up the pace. I've been slacking too much.

Worried about Bingo. He's a beaut, eh? Hope he's alright. Calling the vet tomorrow because they don't open on Sundays. They should. Like hospitals do. Animals are living creatures too, y'know? Hrmph.

Oh, and this way overdue but Juju's birthday went great. Moved her to tears, our surprise. Literally. We bought her a cake and some balloons and surprised her as she walked up the stairs of McD. LoL. Yes. We're still children. XD

OMG. Can't believe it. Can't believe it!! Got this off Deb's site. This must've been what Mindy was talking about. I can't believe I didn't hear about this. Why didn't you tell me Deb?! :'(
Well, its too late. AC Milan was on today. Sniff. But I'm not really sure where it's held anyway. Is it available on TV?? Gotta ask Deb. Gonna be hard considering I won't be going to school for a week. (Parents are away to China so no form of transport to school.)

Grr.

Can check it out here. All credit goes to Deb. Thanks for posting it up. Hope you don't consider this plagerism.

Spider-pig.

I opened Friendster today and saw this:

[original copy]

[enlarged copy]

Friendster really needs to get its facts straight. ;p

It is officially the 4th of August soooo..
HAPPY BIRTHDAY JUJU!!~
GOD BLESS YOU ALWAYS. =))

Going for an outing tomorrow in commemoration of Juju's birth 17 years ago. Wheee. Spider pig, spider pig. Does whatever, a spider pig does. Lalalaa.*

Teeheee.

And in the process of looking for that spider-pig picture, I found a picture of theSIMPSONS in MANGA FORM!!!

It's scary to think that I can name every one of those characters in that picture. Maybe except for the two purple twins. I just know them as Lisa's classmates. ;p
