Wargh!~

5 essentials to de-stress and unwind:

  1. Always keep your mobile//mp3 player// iPod// discman// any electronic device of choice by your side at all time. When feeling overworked and are at the verge of defeat, reach for said electronic device. Good music always helps you to relax and recollect.

  2. Get enough sleep. Going to bed at 3 in the morning and waking up at 12 in the afternoon is NOT a good idea if you're planning on getting any studying done the following day.

  3. Be sure to take 5-minute breaks in between studying from time to time. Sitting in front of a table filled with books for long hours continuously isn't necessarily always healthy. (unless your concentration is at it's peak, then it's not advisable to stop-- if you have the attention span of a poodle; exhibit A: the person typing this entry.)

  4. If you find yourself drowsy and drooling all over your books but you have one chapter left to cover, take a 15-minute nap. If all else fails, reach for a sugary item of your choice. The surge of energy will boost you up just enough to finish whatever's left. (i can't guarantee what good this will have on your health though ;p)

  5. Most important of all, never ever forget that you have someone who is backing you up and walking you through all of this-- all the way to the finishing line. GOD. xD When you're feeling tired and alone and you feel you just cannot go on, remember always to say a little prayer. If you close your eyes and just let go completely of everything that's holding you down you can feel Him there. Promise : ) Certified and tested. Sometimes it helps to put on some religious music, just to relax and unwind. When you think about it-- everything that He has given you, how far He has brought you-- you won't feel as tired because you know you have help. I almost forgot that I have God by my side the other day and things were alot harder. Nothing seemed easy. But it helps to know that you're not in this alone and you have all your efforts and achievements to show for it. The strength that has kept you going this far, it is no longer the work of man alone. So, quote Cynthia; just let go, and let God.

Just 9 more days to go, SPM candidates. All the best. And well, whatever will be, will be.
